Welcome to the ultimate South-African Black Powder and muzzleloader fanatical website! Here you will find articles and loads of information, all Black Powder related.
You will also find a comprehensive list of all our products and a detailed description of each. (We're working on that, please be patient ;-) ...) If you don't see a particular product on our site that you may be looking for, please feel free to contact us. We will do our best to find it for you.
We try to keep all prices on this site as up to date as possible, but they are subject to change without prior notice. We always strive to bring you quality Black Powder, Muzzleloaders and Accessories at yesterday's prices.
Who are we?
The Flint and Musket is our family business. We are located in the North-West Province of South Africa, we run the business from home and specialise in mail orders. Please note however, that we cannot mail or courier Black powder or percussion caps, so please arrange for collection on these items in person.
The second Saturday of every month, we have a social get-together on Rashoop shooting range, exclusively reserved for Black Powder guns and we have a 600yrd range available. We also organize regular shooting events, so keep an eye on our calendar for special muzzleloader shoots and events.
